Dog Days of Summer…WOOF!…Notes from Wilbur…

Summer is here. What has she been doing?

She’s been making dummies for a book about me. Lots of them.  This dummy is tiny.

It’s just 5 and 1/2 inches. What’s the big deal? Why does it take so long to make a picture book?

Somedays… she walks me to the library. She gets books. I get ear rubs and dog treats.

Happy Summer…WOOF!….from Wilbur

A message from Wilbur…

img_9513

Wilbur…waits…

“It’s 2017. I’m waiting for my book. She said she would write a book about me. Instead, she wrote a story about a penguin. I ate the manuscript. She wrote it again. She drew pictures and made a dummy. She sent it off before I got a chance to eat it. I’m hoping her editor doesn’t like it. Then she can get started on my book. For now, I keep looking at her. I think she’s feeling guilty, because she’s drawing lots of pictures of me. I’ll keep you posted”

Sincerely,

Wilbur

PS. At least she’s updated her blog.
